Sustainable Control Systems Limited is a UK company dedicated to manufacturing robust control equipment to enable electricity suppliers to provide electricity to low-income households on a cost-effective basis.
The key products are PowerProvider and the Induction Generator Controller (IGC). PowerProvider is a low cost replacement for domestic electricity meters, which cuts revenue collection costs, reduces theft of electricity and limits peak demand. The IGC is a robust, low-cost electronic controller that enables induction motors to be used as generators for small hydro-electric power projects. It has been proven in Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America.
