PowerProvider enables electricity
suppliers to provide electricity to low-income
households on a secure and cost-effective basis.
PowerProvider replaces the electricity meter and is
designed for outdoor installation on an electricity
supply pole so as to make theft of electricity both
difficult to achieve and easy to detect.
PowerProvider enables the consumer to
draw a limited current from the supply, for which they
pay a fixed monthly tariff, the higher the
PowerProvider current rating the greater the tariff. If
the consumer exceeds the current rating, PowerProvider
disconnects the supply and then automatically resets
